The Computational Medicine and Biomechanics Lab focuses on employing computational methods, experimentation, and engineering science to study cardiac disease and propose rational therapeutics for virtual patients. Our long-term vision is to develop non-invasive diagnostic tools and in silico systems to advance clinical investigations. The lab's current research projects include arterial blood flow, cardiac mechanics, bioinspired microtechnology, and innovative medical devices.
The Computational Medicine and Biomechanics Lab, located in the College of Innovation and Technology at the University of Michigan - Flint, focuses on research at the intersection of engineering, mathematics, bioinspiration, and innovative medical technology.
